GCR Real Ale Train - May 2019

TOG Social on the GCR Real Ale Train

We have decided to hold another social gathering on the GCR Real Ale Train - this time in May as the nights will be lighter to see more of Charnwood Forest and Swithland Reservoir. Details of the Real Ale Train follow this introduction. Members are required to book directly with the GCR on line. You will be able to book your ticket and make a selection of the pie, the game pie is recommended. Finally please let Andy McWilliam know you have booked so we can get an idea of how many will be in the TOG group and we will attempt to secure a group of seats so that we can travel together. Previous trips have worked well and this GCR event is usually fully subscribed well before the date so it is important that you make your booking early. Hoping to see many of you in May.

Real Ale Train – May 11th

The train departs Loughborough Central at 18.30 and makes two trips to Leicester North, before returning to Loughborough Central at approx. 21.45. You are welcome to remain on the train at Loughborough until at least 22.00 buying/drinking your beer (subject to supplies not running out!) and leaving the station by 22.30.
