HOW TO BOOK YOUR TRIP

Sailex bookings can be made for one or more of the advertised events by clicking the “2025 Sailex Booking Form” link below. This is a Google form and will only show the events that have berths available, should a sailex become fully booked there is an option to add your name to a waiting list for contact should a member have to withdraw from a fully booked event. NON Members of TOG are welcome to sign up to any of these trips but will be required to join the group as a new member at an additional cost of £20.00 for the first full year. Annual membership fees are currently £15 when paid by standing order. Following acceptance of the booking TOG will invoice the applicant for the initial booking deposit and set a date for final payment of the Sailex berth fee. Note:- your accepted booking commits you to full payment of the sailex, unless the sailex is cancelled by TOG (see booking conditions under the “Members / Forms” tab of this web site), or the berth is filled by another member of the group. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover your committed costs. TOG offer these events at the negotiated discounted cost to the group and failure to honour the final payment results in the wider membership picking up the costs from our reserves. The Cornish Sailex will set out from Plymouth Hoe. From here places such as Dartmouth, Salcombe and Brixham are to the East, and Fowey, Falmouth, Helford and Newlyn to the West to name just a few of the places we might visit. The coast itself is pitted with interesting nooks and crannies for stop overs. Add to this such famous lighthouses as Eddystone, Wolf Rock and Longships and we should have fun sailing this coastline. If conditions allow a return to the Scilly Isles would be on the cards.

With increased demand we have chartered three yachts for this sailex, a Bavaria 44, a Delphia 40 and a Hanse 385. Costs for this charter have been calculated to include the following extras - an outboard for the dinghy, and gas for the yacht, will be £375 per berth based on 5 members per yacht. Parking is available at the marina. Our 2019 Cornish sailex was over subscribed and very successful. The 2020 event was fully booked buy unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic. Demand for berths, as expected, has been very high and even thought we have added a third yacht we are NOW FULLY BOOKED. The sailex will start on Wednesday 15th September and end on Wednesday 22nd September.
