Scotland Firth of Clyde

Sailex Reference SCO20 Lead Skipper Stewart Cook

Flamingo Yacht Charters stopped accepting visitors during the period 23/3/20 - 30/6/2020 thus cancelling our booking. We negotiated to transfer our booking to 2021 .

For 2020/21 Council recommended that we return to the Clyde for the summer Scottish Sailex. We have now chartered two yachts from Flamingo Yacht Charters at Largs for this event. Both four cabin Beneteau Oceanis 45’s Flamingo and Skylark. The yachts described by Flamingo as follows:-

The Beneteau Oceanis 45 is perfect for those who like a touch of luxury when sailing as a family or a group of friends. .

Details of the sailing plan will be discussed at the sailex meeting but with long days on the west coast at this time of year options include the more sheltered waters of the Firth of Clyde.

LATEST. Bookings for our Scottish Sailex are usually quick off the mark and 2021 looks as though it could be popular with no sailing in 2020. We anticipate demand for yachts to be high Costs this year (2021) will be £645 per berth. UPDATE April 2021 We have late availability for two berths on this sailex, due to members cancellation. Flamingo are full booked for the week we sail and no further yachts are availability for charter. If the long days of June / July on the Scottish west coast appeal to you then please make a booking for one of the remaining places.
