We have chartered two Dufour 460 Grand Large yachts from Lavrion for the late Summer warm water sailex, a little further South than last year and a little earlier. The yachts are both 4 cabin and there will be 6 member berths on each yacht. Facilities include jet thruster bow and stern, self tacking jib, fridge, freezer, a plotter in the cockpit and solar panels.

Berth fees include the yacht charter, all local taxes, and mandatory extras imposed by the charter company. In addition bed linen, blankets (if needed) pillows and pillowcases, towels 2 pp are provided.

We plan to agree flights to Athens and will offer group transportation to the marina to board the yacht, for those that wish to participate. Flights to Athens and return to the UK do not conveniently operate on the Saturdays, thus members should select outbound flights on Thursday 11th September to Athens, the popular UK airports are Birmingham and Luton. Option one, stay and explore Athens on Friday then travel down to Lavrion Saturday morning to board the yacht. Option two travel down to Lavrion on arrival in Athens to explore the coastal resort before meeting up at the marina on Saturday. We hope to provide more guidance with travel options and hotels in the Spring.

Our lead skipper Ross Ryan will prepare a proposed sailing plan for discussion at the pre-sailex meeting but the attached plan is typical of what can be achieved in week. Berth fees for this sailex are £735pp As of April 2025 we have just ONE berth available for this sailex.
