HOW TO BOOK YOUR TRIP

Sailex bookings can be made for one or more of the advertised events by clicking the “2025 Sailex Booking Form” link below. This is a Google form and will only show the events that have berths available, should a sailex become fully booked there is an option to add your name to a waiting list for contact should a member have to withdraw from a fully booked event. NON Members of TOG are welcome to sign up to any of these trips but will be required to join the group as a new member at an additional cost of £20.00 for the first full year. Annual membership fees are currently £15 when paid by standing order. Following acceptance of the booking TOG will invoice the applicant for the initial booking deposit and set a date for final payment of the Sailex berth fee. Note:- your accepted booking commits you to full payment of the sailex, unless the sailex is cancelled by TOG (see booking conditions under the “Members / Forms” tab of this web site), or the berth is filled by another member of the group. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover your committed costs. TOG offer these events at the negotiated discounted cost to the group and failure to honour the final payment results in the wider membership picking up the costs from our reserves. Please understand this commitment.

It has been a few years since TOG sailed out of Ardfern. This is an opportunity to return to the west coast of Scotland. Taking in the sights of the whirlpools in the Sound of Luing/Corryvrechan, the Small Isles ie Coll, Tiree, Treshnish Isles (sunniest place in Britain) Eigg, Fingla's Cave Isle of Mull not forgetting the impressive Scottish coastline to name but a few places we might visit.

Two yachts have been booked, Frances (Elan 444) 3 double, 1 single and saloon berths. Ruby Too (Jeanneau 44) 4 double 1 single and saloon berths. Berth costs based on 6 each yacht £475 per person. The yachts are complete with dinghy and outboard.

Trent Offshore Group

The Trent Offshore Group: Providing offshore sailing experience with responsible skippering has always been our major consideration within the group and has enabled us over the years to charter good quality boats at reasonable prices.

Our charters range from giving sailing experience to enhance sailing skills and possibly log RYA qualifying passages to sailing holidays in both UK and foreign waters.

The Trent Offshore Group was founded in 1983 and has around 120 members mainly in the midlands, as well as active members in various other parts of the globe.

We also organise RYA shore based and other sailing courses.

Membership

Newcomers are welcome. Previous sailing experience is not a requirement. Prospective new members should complete the membership application form and pay the first full years subscription £20 by cheque and following years' subscriptions £15 by standing order.
